Dog at German zoo becomes mother to Bengal tiger cub twins

A dog at a safari park in northern Germany has become a surrogate mother for Bengal tiger cub twins.

Peach and Pearl were born in critical condition and were soon abandoned by their mother. After their birth, the cubs were kept in the zookeeper’s room.

Since then, the zookeeper’s dog, Leon, has become their educator and entertainer and has assumed the task of breeding them.

The cubs are constantly trying to be near him and he tries to educate them. Both the zookeeper and her dog have reared tiger and lion cubs before.
